Culinary Midrash Workshops

• Personal Introductions (½ hour)

An opportunity to meet everyone and get a sense of the level of Judaic background of each participant.

• Text Study (1½ hours)

Examining the selected portion in chavrutah (study pairs) followed by sharing the findings together in group discussion.

• Culinary Interpretation (½ hour)

An introduction to identifying representational ingredients by studying the existing Culinary Midrash for the particular text.

• Prepare Culinary Midrash (1 hour)

Make the existing recipe and clean up.

• Eat (½ hour)
